We here at ShadyAcreKennels, take great pride in the health and appearance of our
puppies. We want "you" the new puppy owner to know that we have taken every precaution
known to us, to assure that your puppy is completely vaccinated against all known canine
diseases and viruses.
Below you will find our schedule for inoculations as well as dewormings. We preform this
schedule on each and every puppy here. If you should lose your puppy record (which we
send with each pup), you can always find the schedule here, and figure the dates from the
date of birth of your new puppy. We begin 2 weeks of age and continue until the pup goes to
their new home,for all practical purposes "this schedule" will go from 2- 16 weeks of age.
At 2 weeks of age-* we de-worm with Synanthic
At 3 weeks of age- *we vaccinate with Intra Trac III (Canine Bordetella, Bronchiseptica,
Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenza Modified Live)
At 4 weeks of age-* we de-worm with Synanthic
*we vaccinate with Progard Puppy DPv -(Canine Distemper, Parvo
Modified Live)
At 6 weeks of age- *we de-worm with Synanthic
*we vaccinate with Vanguard Plus5Cv-(Canine Distemper, Adenovirus
Type 2, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus (MLV and KV)
*we start weaning puppy from mommy.
At 7 weeks of age- *we start pup on a 7 day regimen of medication to prevent and/or cure
coccidiosis.
At 8 weeks of age- *we de-worm with Synanthic
At 9 weeks of age- *we vaccinate with Vanguard Plus5Cv
At 10 weeks of age- *we de-worm with Synanthic
At 12 weeks of age- *we de-worm with Synanthic.
*we vaccinate with Vanguard Plus5,(Canine Distemper,Adenovirus
Type 2, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus Vaccine (MLV)
At 14 weeks of age- *we de-worm with Synanthic
At 15 weeks of age- *we vaccinate with Vanguard Plus5L4,(Canine Distemper, Adenovirus
Type 2, Parainfluenza, Parvo Vaccine, Lepto Canicola, Lepto
Grippotyphosa, Lepto Icterohaemorrhagiae, Lepto Pomono (MLV) )
At 16 weeks of age- *we de-worm with Synanthic
*we vaccinate for rabies ( if the pup is to ship by airplane)
*we begin heartworm preventative
It is our hope that we have started your pup on the road to a very happy and healthy life.
We sincerely hope that you and your vet will continue to vaccinate your new family member
with yearly boosters.
You and/or your vet should continue to treat your new pup with a heartworm preventative, on
a once a month schedule.
It is also recommended that all pups be vaccinated with the rabies vaccine as early as 20
weeks, yearly thereafter.
